Four Months Old

Matthew is now four months old. So, what has he been up to lately?

• He weighs 14lbs 8oz and is 24" tall.
• He rolled from his tummy to his back on 5/7/11. It happened at night. I put him down on his stomach as usual and when he woke up at 5:30 fussing I found him on his back trying desperately to get back to his stomach and failing miserably.
• He likes applesauce, but we aren't really pushing solids as we didn't with Joshua and will introduce them on a daily basis when he is six months old.
• He is so much more vocal now. He likes to squeal back to you when you talk to him.
• SMILES!!! Oh, this baby will smile at you all the time. He can be fussing in his crib in the morning and when I go in to get him he is all smiley at me.
• He is starting to pull things up to his mouth...for example his little giraffe pacifier, blanket, rattle.
• He still loves to suck on his finger.
• He take a wonderful 1-2hr nap in the morning and another one in the afternoon around the same time as Joshua, but not quite.
• He is sleeping ALL night long. He gets his bath around 7pm, is dressed after a lotion/baby powder rub down, and gets his final nursing. I usually have him laid into his crib around 8:30-9pm and he won't wake up again until 8am the next morning.
