Yesterday we had our meet the baby gathering. I made sure that the food was simple, fruits, veggies, meat and crackers. I even made a nice fruit punch. The local HEB made an awesome cake to celebrate with. I picked up some balloons to hang at the entrance to the house and even ordered a cute stork sign to welcome guests as they arrived. While no guests arrived to celebrate with us, we were able to reflect on how much joy Matthew has brought to our lives in just this first month.
