Morning Sickness....Right On Schedule!!!

Surviving morning sickness Pictures, Images and Photos
I say it's right on schedule because this is when it hit with Joshua so I was pretty much prepared for it.
I found an article in the June/July issue of the FitPregnancy Magazine called "A nod to nausea" written by Erica Jorgensen.
The nausea and vomiting of pregnancy correlate with lower risks for miscarriage and, later in life, breast cancer. And in one recent study, the offspring of moms who had morning sickness scored higher on IQ tests. "Morning sickness indicates that proper hormones are being made by mom and baby, that the baby's growing and developing," says Laura Riley, MD.
In a small way that is so reasurring...my kids are going to be geniuses. Like maybe the next Albert Einstein!!! I have been able to eat meat with this pregnancy, but it has to be at the right time. If I go too long between meals meat is not an option and salads are so yummy. I have been known to keep tomatoes in the fridge to slice up and eat all by myself. They are very delicious.

I have learned that if I wait to eat anything first thing in the morning the throwing up is not nearly as bad as throwing up that bowl of cereal. I mean who wants to throw up their favorite cereal that you just bought a new box of, because now you won't eat it for a very long time. Two more weeks and I'll be in the second trimester and I really hope that the morning sickness does not last into the second trimester this time around.
